CANCELLATIONS 

This is my least favorite subject.  Nobody wants to cancel a tour.  However, plans change and situations arise when there is just no other choice.  In some cases, there is plenty of time and a full refund will be made; sometimes there’s not enough time and this is the guideline for Home Spun Tours:

BUS ONLY

Final payment date to 30 days prior to departure:

Cancellation fee is $25 per person and any non-refundable inclusions (shows, attractions, etc.) 

Ø  29 days to 7 days prior to tour departure cancellation, fee is $50 per person and any non-refundable inclusions.

 Ø  6 days to 48 hours prior to departure. Note: We are not open weekends; therefore, Saturday and Sunday, are not included in the 48 hours notice.  The cancellation fee will be $75 per-person and any non-refundable inclusions.

 Ø  48 hours prior up to the time of departure, the cancellation fee is $100 per-person and any non-refundable inclusions.

 Ø  Should you need to leave any tour after it has departed, the cancellation fee will be $250 per-person and any non-refundable inclusions. 

 Ø  ALL CANCELLATIONS SHOULD BE MADE BY PHONE AND A WRITTEN NOTICE MUST FOLLOW!

 At no time will Home Spun keep all your money for cancelling as some of our competitors do. 

 If you resell your seat(s) after you have cancelled, the only charge you will incur is for a $50 per person name change.  Seats must be resold more than 48 hours prior to departure. 

 GOOD NEWS!  If you rebook any Home Spun extended tour within 30 days of your cancellation, we will apply your cancellation penalty to the price of the new booking.  This is the $25-$250 fee and does not include non-refundable inclusions.  This offer is only applicable once per initial cancellation.

 Note:  Tours involving airlines and cruise ships have different rules that are outlined on each specific itinerary.  The cancellation penalty credit previously described does not apply to tours involving airlines or cruise ships.
