I can almost say the same for their meals, baggage handling and gratuities, but it’s worth every penny if you are willing to spend it.
The longest front porch in the country with geranium-filled porch boxes and white rockers, the grand foyer with its original art works (and evening concerts), to the dining room and the tuxedo-attired staff there’s just nothing like The Grand. Breakfast and dinner are from the menu--trust me you’ve never had to make choices like these! And the rooms are unique to this hotel--did you ever use a bar of soap that looks like a geranium?
If I could take it with me, I’d rest in peace at The Grand!
